BPPS had a wonderful, CBCA Book Week themed free dress day on Thursday 22nd October.

Thank you to everyone who participated and donated gold coins. BPPS was magically transformed into Hogwarts School and our favourite fairy tale characters and creative creatures came alive with Alice in Wonderland, The Mad Hatter, Little Red Riding Hood, the Big Bad Wolves, Charlie Bucket and the Golden Ticket, Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppins and the Chimney Sweeper, Dr Seuss, Thing 1 and 2, Smurf, Ballerinas and many more.

Thank you also to Annette in the canteen for organising and selling icy-poles and to everyone who bought and enjoyed one.

We can proudly announce that $611.40 was raised to support the Indigenous Literacy Foundation. https://www.indigenousliteracyfoundation.org.au/

A fabulous range of books were shared by all and don’t you just love everyone’s creativity with dressing up.

It was a wonderful result and a great day!

We look forward to the 2021 CBCA Book Week - Old Worlds, New Worlds, Other Worlds
