Heathy Eating and the “Eat Right Challenge”

Year 9 Programme

The Year 9 Programme was focused on healthy eating during lockdown. The aim was to investigate what healthy eating looks like, assessing what each student’s current eating status was, and designing and making a healthy meal for their family.

 

The meal component required students to:

  1. Select recipes with a focus on balanced and healthy eating.
  2. Work out the ingredients required and plan when they were going to prepare the meal.
  3. Prepare the meal and create a Photo Log: photographs of food preparation and the completed meal.
  4. Submit the recipe and photographs so that the Cookbook could be compiled.
