We hope you enjoy reading our second quarterly edition of our Preshil Alumni iNewsletter for 2016. Please feel free to share it with your family and friends. New Preshil Website

Our new website preshil.vic.edu.au attempts to convey something of the atmosphere of Preshil. The development of the site has required an enormous amount of work, with contributions from many people, and I would particularly like to thank Bronte Howell for her commitment and expertise in bringing this about. In the coming months there is much to add and I would like to encourage all our families and friends to have a look at the site and to offer any feedback they think might improve it.

Please share any aspects of the site and forward them on to others who might be interested in knowing more about either the primary or the secondary school.

Staff News

Cal Baxter has been at Arlington for many decades and she has now decided that it is time for her, and Zelda, to retire. This will be a momentous change for Arlington and she will be truly missed. Cal is a fierce advocate for the free spirit of childhood, for the right of children to be respected, listened to and treasured. Our children find a warm haven in Cal’s library and a magical inspiration for their imaginations and writing.

A farewell event took place at the end of term. 

Next Reunion

The next reunion for people of the 1930s to 1950s is planned for this coming October.
