Green Team

The Green team have been busy pruning the fruit trees to get ready for spring. We have also attended an excursion to the Cranbourne Botanical Gardens to get ideas for our own bush foods garden. We spent an hour wandering the gardens and taste testing edible plants. In the kitchen we have been cooking with our produce including a warm winter salad with our Jerusalem artichokes, fennel, radishes and lettuce. We have also made a vegetable soup with our carrots and apple and rhubarb crumble with our rhubarb, yum! The vegetable garden is open to everyone in our community feel free to come and visit and if you would like to get involved in any aspect of the garden please contact Theresa Stelling, Dromana Colleges Parent Liasion Officer, on 59872805.
