 Term 4

Welcome back to our final term for the year! It is hard to believe we are already two weeks into Term 4 as we look ahead to the many exciting things happening across the school. Coming up next week, we have our Lower Primary students take to the stage for their performance of ‘Journey to the Sea’. It will be wonderful to see all their hard work and dedication presented in such a wonderful celebration.

Our Year 4 Upper Primary students are excited for their extended Excursion Day at Gilwell Park in Gembrook. They will participate in a range of adventurous and exciting activities that will push them out of their comfort zone and allow them to connect with their peers in a fun and engaging environment. Our secondary students have been participating in a range of incursions including Forensic Detective science and also the State Emergency Services (SES). These incursions enable students to learn new knowledge through practical, hands-on learning.

Later this term our Year 12 students will head off on their final camp for secondary school. Students will attend Gippsland Lakes where they will stay in self-contained cabins with their friends and experience all the exciting and challenging activities that camp has to offer. They will develop their social skills and explore, extend and enrich their learning.

This term we welcome back Flora Nixon from family leave on Mondays and Thursdays. Flora and I are excited to be working closely together throughout the term and we look forward to an action packed Term 4!
