BNWPS Working Bee & Gaga Pit Install

Working Bee : Sunday, October 23rd : 9:30-12:30pm 

Weeding and planting in Yakai Baring for the die-hards 

Gaga Pit : The amazing Phil & Bec Hendy have put lots of work into a plan to get the Gaga Pit up and running for our kids but we need lots of volunteers to get this work completed. It’s a great opportunity to learn how to concrete or if you have the skills please come and lend a hand. 

Day 1 - Saturday 22nd October : 8-11am - 6 people required - prepping & foundations 11- 2pm - 4 people required - pouring concrete. 

Day 2 - 23rd October: 9:30-12:30pm - 4 people required - strip concrete and reinstall the Gaga Pit.

Gather at the Productive Garden, entry via Wales Street. 

Morning tea and lunch will be provided, children are welcome.

Chooks : There are a couple of small jobs left to finish before the chickens can be purchased. - Roosting perches & brackets for feeders - Finalising the chicken care plan - Organising school groups to help with daily chook tasks.

 We currently have one volunteer but will need more committed helpers if we are going to get the chickens this term.
