What's  Happening 

THE YEAR 6 EXHIBITION- Next Wednesday!

The Year Six students have been working diligently towards their Exhibition presentations. They have completed their research and are currently taking action and finalising their displays for next week.  

Our school community is invited to come and visit Exhibition from 4.30pm - 6.30pm on Wednesday 12 October.  

Younger students will visit Exhibition with their class during the day on Thursday.  When you come to visit, please ask students questions about their inquiry.  

There will be a brochure available on the day with some discussion prompts to help you engage the students in meaningful discussions about their learning.  The brochure also contains a map and QR codes for you to access the students’ digital Exhibition sites so that they can share more of their understandings with you.

We look forward to seeing you next Wednesday and sharing the culmination of our Year Six PYP learning experience!

WOW! What a bumper issue!

Issue 7 is out now and it is a BUMPER ISSUE for getting ready for Christmas. 

Our school library earns reward points which  go towards buying new books for the students to borrow from our library.  

I hope you find some books that your children will love to read at home, at the same time as creating rewards for our library to spend.

Get ready, get set to Go for Gold this October!

Get active this October (3-28) and help our school become the Glen Eira Active Schools Champion for 2022! 

One lucky student will also win a Fitbit Ace.

You will receive a Golden Ticket at the start of Term 4 and each time you walk, ride or scoot to school, tick one of the boxes on the ticket.

Being active helps keep us fit and healthy so whether you walk, ride or scoot to school, all or part of the way, it all counts!

Don't forget to mark Friday 21 October in your diaries because we will be encouraging teachers, students, and parents to participate in a car-free day, so everyone walks, rides or scoots to school.

At the end of October, you'll submit your entry to go into the draw to win a Fitbit Ace, as well as help our school take out the interschool honours!

SECOND HAND UNIFORMS

In preparation for a future second hand uniform stall, the office is now accepting uniforms in good condition and clean.
