Our Catholic Community

Sacrament of First Holy Communion

This Sunday, students in Year 3 and 4 will receive the Eucharist for the first time at a special Mass at St Francis Xavier Church at 11am.

Candidates have been attending formation sessions with Fr Damien and learning about the significance of the sacrament during their Religious Education Lessons.

We wish all the students the best on their faith journey.

All Saints Feast Day K-10 Mass

The Feast of All Saints, celebrated on Tuesday 1  November. It is a day commemorating all the Saints of the Church who have attained heaven. Our K-10 community gathered in the hall for our last whole school Mass of the year and were joined by parishioners. We were blessed to have both Fr Damien and Fr Vic celebrate with us.

Students wore house colours and crazy socks to support the work of Catholic Missions for Catholic Mission Month. Thank you, everyone, for coming together after a tumultuous week. What a wonderful community we have!

World Mission Month - Socktober

October, World Mission Month, is a month dedicated to the life-giving work of missionaries around the world.

Pope Francis, in his 2022 World Mission Sunday message, invites everyone to answer the call to be a missionary, sharing that "Mission is carried out together, not individually...".

Our Faith and Mission Team are in the process of planning super activities for our students to support the work of Catholic Missions and deepen our understanding of the needs of children in developing communities and take action to support them.
