Swimming Trials 2023

On Thursday, February 16th, the annual Holy Cross swimming trials took place in perfect swimming weather, which encouraged high participation and enthusiasm from our children. The event was a huge success as the children showcased their swimming skills with incredible sportsmanship, camaraderie, and encouragement for one another.

The event was a true testament to the Holy Cross spirit, with children displaying determination and a positive attitude. It was impressive to see the children giving every event their best effort. The teachers and parents supporting the event were equally impressed by the spirit and performance of the children.

Overall, the Holy Cross swimming trials were an enjoyable and positive event for everyone involved. Congratulations are in order for all the participants, and a big thank you to all the parent helpers who came along to assist and support the event. Well done.

Golf update

Last weekend Ivy competed at the Vic Open golf tournament at 13th beach in Barwon Heads. She also got to meet some famous players!!!

We are very proud of her and looking forward to hearing about her future achievements.  Well done Ivy.

Welcome Picnic

We had beautiful weather for our welcome picnic last Friday. It was wonderful to see our Preps intoducing their buddies to their families.

It was a privilage to have Uncle Bill Nicholson perform our very first Smoking Ceremony at Holy Cross. The experience was both moving and educational for everyone in attendance. It was great to see our children sharing their knowledge on Indigenous culture and history during the event and in the conversations afterwards.

Thank you to our PFA and volunteers for assisting with the BBQ and clean up.
