Kinship Care

Are you a Kinship Carer who has a young person in your care?

Kinship Care is when a child or young person’s parents are unable to care for them and they are being cared for by siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles or friends of the family.

If you are then Cafs Ballarat welcomes you to come along to their Kinship Carer Group BBQ – Monday 20th March 2023. Please see the attached flyer for more information. 

CAFS also facilitates monthly support groups for all kinship carers across the Central Highlands. These groups are held in Ballarat, Bacchus Marsh, Ararat and Daylesford (beginning in April).

All kinship carers are welcome to join us:

• For a coffee and a chat
• To meet other Carers
• To access information and support
