PULSE ALIVE 2023 - Senior choir

The senior choir are very excited to be travelling to Sydney to rehearse for Pulse Alive 2023 this Friday with the Combined Signing Choir. They have been busy learning AUSLAN for the song ‘Under Southern Skies’ along with choreography for the big finale. The showcase will involve two evening performances at the Rosewall Arena in Homebush. It has been so wonderful to see the student’s enthusiasm for this performance opportunity and we can not wait to share in the next newsletter about their success.

Restrictive Practice Policy

Yesterday we had a team of people from Sydney, Bathurst and Orange visit the school focused on the implementation of the new NSW Department of Education Restrictive Practice Policy. The Restrictive Practice Policy has been implemented by the NSW Department of Education to keep staff and students safe. A fact sheet link below outlines the new policy. The team were very impressed with the way we keep students safe and use prompts and guiding to support students around the school.  If you have any questions about the restrictive practice within our school please contact me.
