Remembrance Day 2019

On Monday, Remembrance Day, we were honouring and recognising all those who fought in war. We held one minute of silence as a whole school to show our respect, and there were many follow up activities happening in classrooms.

The dedication and sacrifice that these people made enabled our freedom and safety today. The valuable lessons they have taught us help us to understand the reasons why we strive for a peaceful world.

Our school captains did a wonderful job representing the school and laying a wreath at the commemorative service at the Buninyong RSL. It was great for them to be able to chat to current RSL president Ron Fleming and learn more about the significance of the day.

Acting Assistant Principal Role

Scott McGlynn (Wellbeing Assistant Principal) is currently on long service leave for a couple of weeks.

Aaron Coulter and Narelle Sullivan will be assisting at various times during Scott’s absence. Please contact them at any time if needed.

School Bus Travel for 2020

Families who are eligible and wish to use one of the three country bus services next year are required to complete and return a new application form for their child/children and return it to the office by the end of Term 4.

Likewise, if your child/children attend our Scotsburn campus and would like to use our between campus service, a new application form is also required.

If your child/children are already bus travellers, we will be sending a form home with the eldest child in the family in the next few weeks. For new travellers, please call into the office to see Mel for an application form and further details.

Please note: All current bus rolls will be cleared at the end of Term 4 and only children for which we have new application forms for will be permitted to travel.

Thank you for your understanding.
