My congratulations to the Class of 2022 on finally completing your school and your Valedictory ceremony. Well done to all award winners, in particular our VET Dux, Koltyn Tholstrup, runner-up Dux, Jacob Smith and Dux Danielle Iles. Thank you to all the staff who worked on Valedictory, the day would not run so successfully without your hard work.

Our Year 11 students will be finishing up their last week of schooling this week. This year has certainly presented many challenges all of  which you have tackled with creativity and perseverance. I look forward to seeing what you can achieve in Year 12. I hope to see many of you at the Year 11 Ceremony of Friday to celebrate the successes of the Year 11 cohort. Thank you to Mr Boromini and Ms Martini who welcomed me into their workshop and ute during the Trades and Farm Emersion Day. An even bigger thank you to Connor, Tyson, James and Blake who demonstrated their automotive skills. Ellie, Brooke and Emily taught me all about the differences in meat and Merino sheep as well as how to access the condition of stock, fence lines and paddocks. We also managed to squeeze in feeding sheep and cows.

Year 11 reports will be sent out to families on 9 December 2022. The holidays are an ideal time to reflect on your results and staff comments. I encourage you all to set goals for the coming year and strive to achieve the best outcomes possible. This is an ideal time to identify areas you may not have given your best efforts to and commit yourself to working hard consistently.

I wish you all a successful and smooth harvest season. It was a wonderful site getting our new header out in the crops this week.

Enjoy the holiday season, I hope you all stay safe. See you back for 2023!
