Did you know that we’re now part of Ivanhoe Community Grocers’ fundraising initiative? They are a community-focused business, started by a local mum. They deliver seasonal, organic, fruit and veggie boxes in Ivanhoe and within a 5k radius. They operate as a social enterprise and partner with preschools, kindergartens and now Ivanhoe Primary to help with fundraising.

We now have a specific code that parents, staff and anyone else can use when placing orders with Ivanhoe Community Grocers.

We get $3 back for each box that’s purchased using the above code. Which adds up pretty quickly!

We all buy food and by choosing to buy from ICG you’re getting awesome organic fruit and veg delivered to your doorstep AND supporting IPS too!

ICG always chooses Victorian grown stock first to help cut food miles and get the freshest produce possible. Most of the veggies are picked within days of being delivered to you. 

Not everything can be grown in Victoria though. So they also source items from other states as well. Their position is to support local as much as possible and be really mindful of when they choose to buy from further afield.

Our produce comes from farms that use organic growing principles. We support them because they’re real people and organic farming is hard work! We buy locally grown whenever possible with around 80% of our produce each week coming from Victorian farms. 

When our food travels less, it’s fresher and there are fewer carbon emissions. Yay for us, yay for the planet! Can you purchase or do you need a Pay it Forward box? If so, visit the website or contact us to nominate a family that could use some help :)

We have a super simple system where each group or school is given a specific code that can be used when placing orders. Each order then gets allocated to the group and they Receive $3 From Every Box that's purchased. Parents, staff and anyone else can use the group's code so it adds up pretty quickly!
