Congratulations to all students who received an award or were a runner-up at the 2022 College Awards Night. The names of these students can be found below.
The 2023 Sacred Heart College Booklists are now available on the College Websiteunder the relevant year group in the ‘Current Families’ tab. They are also live on Campion Education's website. Parents can order online using the code WX6Y by Friday 23 December to guarantee supply of all items. All online orders must be prepaid. Orders can still be placed past the 'return date', but may incur a late fee.
Subject confirmation for 2023 will be made available to families in the next few weeks. The College will also confirm subject, electives and stream allocations for students currently in Years 7-9 in the near future. Please do not assume the streams are the same as 2022 as this may not be the case.
Several years ago, the Sacred Heart College P&F developed the initiative to provide parents with the ability to trade second-hand items, except for College uniforms, via the Sustainable School Shop website (www.sustainableschoolshop.com.au). This service is easily accessible and preferences our school first before providing access to buy and sell items to and from families attending other schools. Access to second-hand textbooks, calculators, stationery, musical equipment and all other resources is available all year round. We hope that you make the most of the opportunity to recycle your child's school items annually as this will help all families at Sacred Heart.
Parents of Year 9 students scheduled to complete the Online Literacy and Numeracy Assessment (OLNA) in 2023 will soon receive a letter indicating the components that their child is required to complete in Year 10.
On Monday, the academic efforts of Year 10s were acknowledged by the presentation of Sacred Heart Learner Awards at their final Assembly. The names of the students who received Year 10 Sacred Heart Learner Awards are available HERE.
The Year 10 Semester Two Examinations continue until Friday 2 December. Families are encouraged to read the Year 10 Semester Two Examination Timetable and Examination Rules below. Students are expected to:
Year 11 students and their parents/caregivers will be able to access the Semester Two reports via SEQTA by Friday 2 December.
