Jones House Dinner

All eyes were on the stars illuminating the room as they strutted their stuff at the official Jones House Dinner. The night’s theme was ‘Jones Met Gala’ complete with a red carpet, runway show and outfits worthy of the covers of Vogue magazines across the globe. 

This year Jones house students were encouraged to get creative and were tasked with crafting reusable and sustainable fashion, including opting for thrifting or reusing items they already owned. In true Jones House spirit, the results were extraordinary.

The night was vibrant as students across all year levels boogied on the dance floor, and cheered for their fellow Jones students who ventured into the dance circle and showed their skills on the dance floor. 

Ranging from an iconic Lip Sinc battle, a runway show, awe-inspiring solo acts, a ‘Waka Waka’ rendition featuring a human bicycle and a sentimental 1 Direction throwback of ‘That’s What Makes You Beautiful’ by the Year 12’s, the individual and House Tutor acts were prime performance that really brought out the celebrity in everyone.

Overall, the night was a successful one, that will live in the memories of Jones students and staff for years to come.
