Assistant Principal's Report 

On Wednesday 23/11, our students attended the WSC Student Leadership Induction at the Westall Hub. Students learned about theories of leadership, how to find their leadership strengths, and developing their school community projects for 2023. Thank you to Ms Vasilakis for organising such an engaging event.

DET International Student Program trip to Cambodia

From 15-21 November, I was privileged to be the Westall SC representative on a promotional tour of Cambodia, with the aim of promoting the school to prospective international students. I met with Education Agents in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, and attended the IDP Educational Fair in Phnom Penh, which ran over two days. It was an amazing experience to see such a beautiful country, try the local cuisine, and even got to see some amazing sites such as Angkor Wat. Hopefully, we will see an increase in Cambodian students enrolling in the coming months 😉

Next week, from Monday 5 December, students will undertake a week of workshops as part of personal development skills (PDS) week. The program aims to provide students with a range of learning experiences and exposures that sit outside of the traditional school program. It is hoped this will build the life skills of the students, as well as build confidence and resilience.

Our staff are looking forward to supporting our students in all of the workshops.

Please note, students can choose to wear full school SPORT uniform, or full NORMAL school uniform, with RUNNERS.
