VCE Art Design and Media Exhibition

Congratulations to the 92 Students from Unit 4 Studio Arts, Media, Visual Communication and Design, and Product Design and Technology who exhibited creative works in the VCE Art Design and Media Exhibition.

The VCE Art Design and Media Exhibition was a particularly special exhibition as it was the first time that we as a school community have been able to come together to celebrate the students’ creative, technical, and artistic achievements in three years.

It is always worth celebrating the completion of the folio works but this year’s students have had to overcome the obstacles, both academic and personal, posed by two years of disrupted classes due to pandemic lockdowns, and as a result they should be particularly proud of their efforts and endeavors in completing a VCE folio subject.

On behalf of the Visual Arts and Technology teams I would like to thank the exhibiting students for the privilege of allowing us all to be part of each one of your individual creative journeys.

Lastly, I would like to thank the Parents Fundraising Committee for their continuing support of the visual arts at Melbourne Girls College, for providing the funding for a number of creative awards at the school as well as the catering at the opening of the exhibition.
