Foundation (Prep-Year 2)

Brown Bear, Brown Bear, what do you see?’ I see 1/2B looking at me! This Term we have been working on bringing Brown Bear to life. The students completed sentences from the story through cut and paste, as well as writing words from the text. Students enjoyed picking pages from the text and painting animals such as frogs, sheep and the brown bear. The students of 1/2s also enjoyed seeing many different animals from the Wild Action incursion as they learned about living things. Students in the 1/2s also celebrated their termly assembly where they were very proud to show off their work!

We are getting very excited for our final weeks in the Term as we practice for our Concert in the Courtyard performance.

Lower Primary (Years 3-4)

This week the 3/4-year level has been growing a variety of plants for our inquiry unit on ‘Living Things.’ We have created a watering schedule to give our plants what they need to grow. We are growing flowers, lettuce, peas, and tomatoes. Our plants have almost all started to sprout, and we look forward to the changes they make as they grow this term. We have also started creating habitats of a chosen animal to show what animals need to survive. We have had so much fun with this inquiry topic we look forward to seeing the change in our plants when we take them home on the holidays.
