From the Principal's Desk

Welcome to Week 5, Term 4

Wow, already we are half way through the term! I would sincerely like to thank our staff and students for continuing to be resellient and persistent, working their way to the end of the year.

We have had some very exciting developments to the sand play area. Thank you Mrs Pennington for organising new sand play equipment for our students.

Leadership 2023

It is coming to the time where we are beginning the process of electing captains for 2023. Year 5 students who wish to be considered for election for leadership roles in 2023 have been asked to begin writing their speeches to be delivered on Tuesday 29 November 2022 in the hall at 12pm. Captains need to remember all the ‘Keys to Success’ that contribute to being a good leader and our K-5 students will begin talking about this also.

Students in Year 3 to 6 begina four day Learn to Swim Program next week. This program is for all children in Years 3 – 6.  It will be held at the Sport UNE Swimming Centre. Selective School Information

It is almost time again for students in Year 5 who may be looking at attending a NSW Selective High School for Year 7 2025 to apply.

For students to attend these schools they will need to sit the Selective Schools test in 2024.

To have this opportunity they will need to register with Selective Schools,  registrations open between 18 October and 16th November 2022.

Attendance Matters

We have set our school a target to achieve 90% attendance 90% of the time for the remainder of 2022 and continuing in 2023.

Assembly

Assembly will start at 12:30pm with Stage 2 presenting.
