Anzac Day

Dear Families,

I hope everyone had a chance to remember our past and present service men and women yesterday as our Nation marked ANZAC DAY.  On TUESDAY we gathered as  a school community  for a remembrance ceremony. To  those who are serving or have served  so that others  may live in peace and harmony we give thanks for their courage.

We pray too that we may always be a people who understand and celebrate difference in race, religion and beliefs.  

Working Bee - Thanks 

Our thanks to the 20 or so families that came so generously last Saturday Morning and helped at our first Working Bee for the Year! What a brilliant success! So much was achieved in just 90 minutes!! 

We tidied up the back of the Scanlon Building, gardened around the Great Southern Stand area,  raked tanbark, shovelled new sand in the sandpit, swept up leaves and rubbish , took down our harmony day ribbons, cleaned drinking troughs and tidied up the playground. We finished with a beautiful morning tea!! Our next Working Bee is June 16th! It will begin at 9am and will be finished by 11am!

Open Day  - Next Thursday May 3rd

Our final Open Day will be  Thursday May 3rd with tours at 9am, 10am and 2:15pm! Please spread the word with your friends and colleagues. Parents are the greatest advocates for our school.   We hope to finalise all enrolment interviews and letters of offer shortly

Safety

Please,  for Community Saftey do not park in any NO STANDING Areas. We notice this occurs at the back of our school  in BEVIS Street. Do not Reverse out of  Bevis St into Studly Road.  Please use St Johns Way for a drop off and pick up area. Council inspectors will visit our school area and will send our infrigement notices.
