Team Leader’s Message

Last week I finished entering all Secondary 11/12 student’s VCAL results on the Victorian Assessment Software System (VASS) and I am extremely proud of the effort and achievements of our students in meeting the Foundation level VCAL outcomes.  The Foundation VCAL certificate is delivered over two years, enabling our students to address the outcomes and apply them across different situations in that time.   The Year 11 students are halfway through the program and are well on their way to successful completion at the end of 2019.  Approximately 75% of the Year 12 students achieved the full Foundation VCAL certificate, with the other students successfully completing selected units.

Also, congratulations to Carla who had a personal out of uniform day.

SSG Meetings

Year 11 families are encouraged to book in on Compass for an end-of-year SSG meeting with their child’s classroom teacher.  Meetings can be scheduled between 3pm and 7pm for Tuesday 27th November. 

This year there has been extensive opportunity for families of Year 12 students to meet with the staff, to discuss individual goals for the future and to support you and your child with transition from school to their chosen pathway.  It has been decided that it is not essential for Year 12 families to attend the end of year SSG meetings.  However, if you would still like to meet with your child’s teacher, please do not hesitate in contacting them to make arrangements.

Success Pass Winners

Congratulations to Con N for his award for acting responsibly.  He chose to have a fish and chip lunch.
