Wellbeing

2020 has been a challenging year on many different levels. As our students transition back to school this week, we extend our admiration and appreciation to all families who have juggled many different roles over the past few months. Thank you.

There has been a small group of children who have commenced at Holy Family during our remote-learning period. One child was only at school for a few days before we went online, another for one day while others have only recently met their classroom teachers face-to-face rather than computer-screen-to-computer-screen. For a term, they have participated in learning with their classmates online, but have not had the chance to play with them.

We have high regard for these students – how resilient are they to participate in the learning, within a new environment!

Our priority throughout the term will be Student Wellbeing. Physical, spiritual and emotional wellbeing are just some of the areas students will be exploring during Inquiry. I have heard that our Year 1/2s will be creating HEART superheroes over the next few days. I am sure their strength of resilience and cooperation will flourish this term, as it will across all our year levels.

Finally, I would like to include some of the photos from our Family Connections event at the end of term 3. We concluded the term with a recital, which showcased the musical talents of children, teenagers and even one of our parents. These simple opportunities to unite are at the HEART of what we do at Holy Family.
