ICT HELPLINE

Centorrino Technologies have provisioned a dedicated support phone number that will be resourced with dedicated team members to provide parents/guardians with general IT support for their children throughout this remote learning period. We expect to be able to help them with issues such as;

• My device won’t connect to the wireless;

• Internet isn’t working;

• I can’t print;

• I can’t open Google Apps for Education;

This general support for parents/guardians can be accessed by phoning 03 9998 6392 between the hours of 8:30am and 5pm Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays and will continue to operate throughout the remote learning period.  It is important to note that in the interests of child safety, our team will only be able to provide support to parents/guardians and not the child themselves.

Caremonkey has rebranded to Operoo

CareMonkey is rebranding to ‘Operoo’

This is a quick note to inform you that St Augustine’s digital forms and school operations platform provider, CareMonkey, will be rebranding as ‘Operoo’: School processes, without the paperwork

Operoo’s mission is to help schools eliminate operational inefficiencies so that every dollar and every minute possible can be spent on a students’ education.

The name change will occur the week beginning Monday August 10th. How you use the service, as well as the ownership and operation of the company, will remain unchanged.

You can continue using the system, and its mobile application, as usual. Just be aware that, after Monday August 10th, emails and notifications sent from the system will start appearing under the new name ‘Operoo’. You will also be automatically diverted to the new Operoo website if you go to the old CareMonkey website.

Catholic School Parents Victoria

Parents, teachers and principals are invited to a FREE Information session presented by Tasmanian Catholic Schools Parents Council and ACARA (Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority).

Thursday 10th September at 7pm

The Tasmanian Catholic School Parents Council (TCSPC) is pleased tooffer all Parents, Principals and Teachers the opportunity to hear first hand about the ‘NAPLAN’ and ‘MY SCHOOL’ websites, including live on line demonstrations and explanations on how to use many of the functions on each website.

TCSPC and CSPV are members of the national parent council, Catholic School Parents Australia (CSPA). Each state and territory is represented on the CSPA (except Northern Territory) and we regularly share resources and information to share with parents of children in Catholic schools across Australia.

This opportunity to hear from the CEO of ACARA is provided to enable parents to access information and resources to support them in engaging with their children's learning and understanding more about the data and resources available.

The session will be presented by ACARA CEO David de Carvalho. David has developed many resources for parents since becoming CEO including a video series explaining the curriculum and an enewsletter specifically for parents.

During this session, David will be able to answer any questions from participants about the websites so this is a great opportunity to have your questions addressed during this informative 45 minute session.

As a parent himself David is mindful of the role of parents and their important role in engaging in their children's learning. David has consulted with CSPA on many occasions to gather feedback from a parent perspective and is now keen to share further information about the new websites developed by ACARA.
