Choir Ensemble

Next term we will formally begin our Choir Ensemble (School Choir). This is open to any children from Prep to Year 6 who would like to sing. The sessions will occur weekly and are free. Students currently enrolled in our Music Program facilitated by Chasing Sound are encouraged to join as well. Depending on the restrictions at the time we return this may happen virtually (each student on a Chromebook with headphones) keeping to social distance and room capacity restrictions.

Students currently receiving singing lessons have been meeting each week virtually to record a song that will be posted for the community to view at the end of the term. Our aim is to replicate this on a larger scale and have one or two Christmas Carols recorded for the end of the year.

Next year we aim to continue building and developing the choir to be able to sing at school masses, sacraments and other events.
