Remote Learning Week 9: 

Year 3/4 Fun Fridays Creations

In Year 3/4, we have been having Fun Fridays as we start to wind down this VERY busy term. Here are some of our sand creations, mandalas & drawings. Enjoy :)

1/2M Drawing a house using a ruler.

As part of the maths unit this week, grade 1 and 2 children learnt about measurement. In particular using centimetres to measure lines and different objects around the house. During our Google Meet session this week, 1/2M followed instructions to draw a house using centimetres. They practised drawing different lines with different lengths to design their house. Including windows, a door, a chimney and their own window design using their ruler. They also learnt the difference between horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines.
