Principal's Message

Dear King’s College community,

As I reflect on the assemblies and public meetings we have had recently, I am humbled by the level of diligence and professionalism our staff show in developing and maintaining a positive culture for our students to thrive in.  I believe that each one of our staff have been handpicked for their skill, knowledge, attitude and passion for students and their development.

Over the last couple of years, I have seen students adopt and believe the concepts outlined in the College Affirmation.  They have developed a growth mindset where they can dream big dreams for their lives and believe that those dreams will be realised.  This cannot be done without the nurturing environment provided for them by their parents, carers and College staff.

As we bring this year to a close, it is a time of transition for all.  I believe that next year will build upon this year in student development under the leadership of Mr Ian Elder.  I take this opportunity to thank the College Board in appointing Mr Elder and I feel confident that the school will flourish under his leadership.

I wish all our families and staff a very blessed Christmas where we can be grateful for life and the One who has made eternal life available to each one of us – Jesus.  I pray that you will grow in your relationships with each other and with God in the coming year.

Farewell and God Bless,

Mr Orlando dos Santos
