Sport Bulletin

Woodmans Hill welcomes Mr Jason Hekkema as the new head of Sport this year. Mr Hekkema will be coordinating the Swimming Carnival and currently giving students the opportunity to join a range of other sports to be played during the year.

Students, please keep your eye on the Sports Noticeboard, situated outside the staffroom in the Administration building for further updates.  

Swimming Carnival

Woodmans Hill swimming carnival day will be held on Wednesday 19th February, at the Brown Hill Swimming Pool. Due to our higher enrolment numbers, we have added a 4th house this year, so there will be YELLOW, RED, BLUE and new house colour GREEN.  

Students will be representing their house colour to score points. The day will consist of traditional swimming events and at the end the novelty events. Students are encouraged to wear their team colour on the day. Students have been given their team colour and it would be fabulous for students to come dressed in their colour if possible.

 Volleyball

We will have a senior girls and an intermediate boys volleyball teams competing in the Eureka competition on Friday 28th Feb.

 Tennis

The senior boys will compete in the Eureka tennis competition. We wish all the teams the best of luck.

 Sports Leadership 

Any students interested in sports leadership can collect a form from the sports noticeboard and submit it to Mr. Hekkema.

Lawn Bowls

Any students interested in playing Lawn Bowls this year please see Ms. Collins.
