Library News: Premiers Reading Challenge to commence March.

Premiers Readers Challenge: will be running again this year, waiting for the confirmation dates to commence and students will be able to either apply online or drop in at the Library and I'll assist them to join this year.

 

     The Premiers Challenge for Secondary Students Rules:

If you're in Years 7 to year 10 you need to:

  1. register as a challenger and keep a record of the books you have read on the challenge website.
  2. read a certain number of books (depending on your year level) during the challenge, as shown below.
  3. get the coordinator (Jenny Leith-Library) at your school to confirm that you've read the books you've registered online.
  4. make sure all your information is completed online by the date set by your school or by the closing date (to be confirmed) if you are a home-based reader.

Year 7 - 9

Number of books: 15

Number of books from the challenge book list: 10 or more

Year 10

Number of books: 15

Number of books from the challenge book list: 5 or more.

 

The Premiers reader Challenge will run for approximately 6 months and those students who complete the Challenge will receive a Certificate from the Victorian Premier.
