Flora & Fauna

In Flora and Fauna we continued with our rotations. This was our third rotation for this term.

In the Kitchen, the students were making zucchini muffins and going outside to look at the garden. They also learnt about the safety rules in the cooking area. For health and safety reasons toddlers are unable to attend these sessions.

In the gardening, Mr Barr and Mr Le, are still amazed at the amount of produce the students are harvesting for the Kitchen but also for selling to the community. There’s cucumbers, zucchinis, basil, parsley and capsicum. The money from all sales go back to the program.

In Science, the students have been looking at where our food comes from and healthy eating habits.

In Science, Conversation and Environment the students have been looking at what is Flora and what is Fauna?
