IMPORTANT END OF YEAR INFORMATION

PAYMENTS CLOSE: Compass transactions and Cash Transations will close at 4pm on Wednesday 18th December The office will not be able to take any payments after 10am on Thursday 19th December. Please ensure all accounts are finalised before then.
Book packs will be available from Wednesday 11th December, once school charges have been paid. For speedy collection, please bring proof of payment with you. Please Note: Families with Foundation Students may collect all student book packs on Tuesday 10th December.
Student banking closes next week for 2019 and will resume in 2020
RHSports (Uniform Shop) closes on 20th December 2019 and will reopen on Thursday, 2nd January 2020.
Last day of Term 4 is Friday 20th December. There will be an assembly at 1:00pm to farewell the Grade 6 graduating students and departing families.
Students will be dismissed early, at 1:30pm from Assembly. Please make the appropriate arrangements so your child is met at this time.
If your child has an EpiPen or other medication stored at the office, please collect before 1:00pm on the last day.
All students will start back at school on Thursday 30th Jan 2020.
Foundation students will not attend on Wednesdays until March 2020
Book pack payment and pickup will be January 28th & 29th, FROM 8:45am- 11am

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE CROSSING SUPERVISORS

Parents, please be advised that the flag operated school crossing at Yarra Valley Grammar (YVG) on Kalinda Rd will not be supervised from Mon 9/12/2019 to Fri 20 Dec 2019. You are advised to use the flag operated school crossing outside of Kalinda Primary School.

The flag operated school crossing on Plymouth Rd at the side of YVG will still be in operation.

AM SHIFTS - 7.45am to 8.45am.

PM SHIFTS – 3.00pm to 4.00pm except Fri 20/12/19 which will be 1pm to 2pm.

The flag operated school crossing at YVG on Kalinda Rd will resume Thu 30 Jan 2020.

Canteen News

Last day of canteen for the year is Friday 13th December

No orders can be accepted after this date.

Last call out for Birthday cupcakes for the year, last collection is Friday 13th December.

The canteen has a limited supply of Rainbow Ice Cream in Cups For $2.00 each until sold out.

As we near the end of the year the canteen is running down all stock, you may notice on Qkr that you cannot see or find your child's favourite foods as they will have sold out. This includes Frozen Treats. Apologies, they will be back again next year when the canteen re-opens on Monday 3rd February.

QKR

Thank you to all the families who have welcomed Qkr and helped to make this transition as smooth as possible.

From next year all lunch orders and special food days will be done via Qkr.

This can be done by downloading the Qkr app or by using the Qkr website. If you require any assistance with setting this up, please ask our lovely admin staff.

A Qkr reminder will be sent out early next term for families to update their child’s class details. Please make sure you have notifications enabled. Please remember to choose the correct class, otherwise lunches will be sent to the class that has been assigned.

Please remember to add or create a new account for incoming Foundation students. Students are able to have more than one account. Mum, Dad, Guardians or Grandparents can all have their own accounts.

Please remember to choose a bag option, by searching for the Bag category in the top bar and choosing between supplying your own or paying for a paper bag.

A new online sign-up roster for volunteering in the canteen will be sent out early first term.

Big Thanks to all the people who have helped out in the canteen this year for lunch orders and special food days, without your assistance the canteen would not be able to run efficiently.

To all our departing families, I wish you all the very best as you move forward on to new and exciting ventures, you will all be missed.

You can cancel canteen orders if your child changes their mind, right up to 8.30am on the day. You just need to decide to order something else or if you want it kept as credit for later.

And if your child has the same thing each week, you can copy from one week to the next. Just select 'repeat order' in the calendar section.

CUPCAKES

Surprise your child and order them a birthday cupcake for $2.50 with raspberry or lemonade icing on top. You can now order via the new QKR! app. FINAL DATE is 15th December.
