Pleasant Bazaar Update
The day of the 2019 Pleasant Bazaar is drawing ever closer! There is so much hard work and planning happening behind the scenes from your Pleasant Bazaar Committee. Remember to tell all your family and friends about the event so we can see record attendance numbers on the day.
GOLD SPONSORS - WOW!!
This week we are extremely excited to announce our three GOLD SPONSORS:
Ray White Forest Hill who are supporting us with a cash donation plus three large advertising boards to promote our event. Contact Hugh and the team for all your real estate needs.
Vermont South Gourmet Meats who are donating sausages for our BBQ as well as providing us with a major discount on other food stall supplies. Make sure you support this fabulous local business as the quality of their meat is superb!!
Canterbury International Hotel who are supporting us with donations of some fantastic vouchers for accommodation, high tea and fine dining for our raffle and silent auction. Canterbury International offer hotel accommodation, host functions and also have a lovely restaurant and café on site. Check them out.
BECOME A SPONSOR
We need some fabulous sponsors to help pay for two large vinyl banners promoting the Pleasant Bazaar. Each of these banners will be placed at a key location in our local area in the lead up to November 23rd.
To cover the cost of the banners we have two sponsorship opportunities available to you;
1. Become a School Stall Sponsor:
For an investment of $250 you/your business will have the opportunity to place logo signage on one school stall on the day of the Pleasant Bazaar as well as be featured on social media & in our school newsletter in the lead up to the event.
or
2. Become a School Supporter:
For an investment of $150 you/your business will be featured on the MPRPS Parents and Friends Facebook page and a mention in the school newsletter.
JUNIOR MAKER MARKET STALLS
We would love to have some of our MPRPS students at the Pleasant Bazaar selling their own goods and services. If you have young entrepreneur in the family please get in contact for our detailed booking form pleasantbazaar.market@gmail.com
Please note we cannot accept junior maker applications to sell food products or handmade beauty products as council regulations are very strict for these categories.
RIDES

Rides will be open to the general public on the day so your friends, family and neighbours are all welcome to purchase a wristband and join the fun! Below is a run-down of the ride pricing structure, pre-purchase online to save $$. Prices will increase on the day of the Pleasant Bazaar.

BUSKERS
We’re looking for a couple of local buskers to create some ambiance for our market stall shoppers. Do you have a talented performer in the family? SOFT DRINK TOSS & CHOCOLATE TOSS
We desperately need more soft drink and/or juice bottles for the Soft Drink Toss game to be successful! And we are also still accepting donations of chocolate blocks, so please keep those coming too. There is a basket in the school foyer for all donations.
TRASH & TREASURE
Thank you to Jess, Louise and Amy for opening up the storage container over the weekend. They have been working hard to keep all the donations sorted and organised in order to fit more into the container. We will be opening the container again soon, so if you have more good quality pre-loved goods to donate please stay tuned. Please remember we cannot accept electrical items, clothing or soft toys.
VOLUNTEER TO HELP OUT ON THE DAY
