ANZAC Day,

On Sunday the 25th of April, we had our School Captains lay a wreath on behalf of CJC at the City of Glen Eira ANZAC Memorial Civic Service. It was a wonderful opportunity to come together with other schools from the area to commemorate such an important day on our calendar. Thank you to the students and parents involved in the organisation of the event.

ANZAC Day Special Assembly

On Monday, we held a whole school special assembly at Caulfield Park to commemorate those who have been injured or lost their lives in times of war.  Mr David Southwick, MP for Caulfield, joined us to honour the Australian and New-Zealand servicemen and women who have taken part in wars, conflicts and peace operations.  The students read heartfelt poems written by J. Albert and Son in 1942 and WE SHALL KEEP THE FAITH by Moina Michael  Thank you to all involved. It was a truly beautiful commemoration. 

JOURNÉE DE L’ANZAC – ASSEMBLÉE SPÉCIALE

Lundi, toute l’école a assisté à une assemblée spéciale au parc de Caulfield pour se souvenir de ceux qui ont été blessés ou qui ont perdu la vie en temps de guerre.  Mr Southwick, représentant parlementaire de Caulfield s’est joint à nous pour honorer nos militaires australien(ne)s et nouveau-zélandais(e)s qui ont participé dans des guerres, des conflits et des opérations de paix. Les élèves ont lu un chaleureux poème écrit par J. Albert et Fils en 1942 et un autre, WE SHALL KEEP THE FAITH (Gardons espoir) de Moina Michael. Merci à tous, ce fut une très belle cérémonie commémorative.
