AFL

This term, there were over 35 girls representing Mount Alvernia College in the CaSSSA AFL competition.  These girls competed every Wednesday afternoon, travelling to Wynnum, Morningside, Mt Maria, and various other places. 

I’m a very proud captain to say that our Senior nine-a-side team won its grand final and placed first in the competition, while our Senior sixteen-a-side placed fifth in the competition.  Both sides showed tremendous teamwork and support for one another, which contributed to their positive success.  I look forward and am excited for the junior competition to start towards the end of the year.
