Aspire Celebrate Reflect

Dear Parents,

Last week the nation celebrated ANZAC Day, the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand armed forces during the First World War, and an opportunity for us to remember the sacrifice of those who have died in war.

It is always an honour for our school to march in the annual parade. And even though the route taken and the location of the service were changed because of Covid-19 restrictions, the significance of the event was not diminished. Thank you to all of our students and staff who participated and also to our students who participated in other community and cadet groups.

This term starts our annual camp season and this weekend the first of our Year 8 groups depart on their Adventure. As with so many of our events and programmes, there is months of planning and preparation. This involves many of our staff and members of our community, and I would like to thank everyone in advance for their efforts in ensuring the ongoing success of these programmes.

Enjoy your long weekend.

Thank you and Be Kind Always,

~ Mr Roger Herbert
