Big Hello to all the staff at ECA that provide ongoing great care to the residents.

I thought as this is my first time writing in the newsletter I would provide you with an introduction of myself. I am sure you are now all aware I am the Clinical Care Manager at Wharparilla lodge which was previously known as the Director of Care Services. I have worked in Aged care at a management capacity for the past 5 years prior to that I worked remotely throughout different parts of Australia. I have a passion for Aged Care which started with my own family experience within the system.  My goal is to assist with making a meaningful and purposeful life for the residents at Wharparillia lodge. 

I am a mother of a little boy called Dax after my maiden name it is the end of the line with no Boys left to continue the family name. As you can all see I am pregnant with my second child. I will be taking maternity leave from the 24 of June with my due date being the 17th of July with the hope of returning on the 4th February 2022. I look forward to meeting my little bundle which will be a complete surprise as we have decided not to find what we are having. Please know my door is always open if you have any issues or anything that you would like to discuss I am more than happy to assist. As a management team in consultation with HR we are currently seeking someone to assist in doing my roll over my maternity leave period. 

I would like to thank all the staff for the amazing effort that you all do pulling together and assisting with covering staff shortages. I am well aware it has been difficult over the past months with staff shortage being an issues. We continue ongoing to interview and try to employ staff so as to meet the ongoing short fall. If you have anyone that you would like to put forward for employment please let them know to put in their resumes.
