Music News

Hi parents,

Some exciting news from the Music room! I was successful in receiving a grant from Regional Arts Victoria which means I have the wonderful Libby Brockman working in the room with me for 6 months with the years 4s, 5s and 6s.

She is incredible with the kids and I can’t wait to see what we can get done together! Below is some info about Libby along with some pictures.

Warm regards,

Dallas 😊💕👍🏼🎶

Libby Brockman is an actor, writer and producer who is in her final year at RMIT, completing a Bachelor Degree of Youth Work & Youth Studies. She plans to combine her passions into a future career in dramatherapy, using acting, film and theatre making to build resilience, self-esteem and confidence in young people. Most notably, she has toured Shakespeare around Australia and performed in independent film and theatre in London. She has also attended physical theatre and clowning courses in Italy and Spain and created her own short films, plays and web series. She is currently co-producing a web series on mental health and lockdown for teenagers, designed to reduce stigma and show young people different ways they can reach out for help and help themselves. She is excited to work with the wonderful Regional Arts Victoria and fabulous Ms Holden to see what creative adventures can be explored at Ocean Grove Primary!
