2022 World Patient Safety Day - JCT Webinars

September 17 has been designated by the World Health Organization as “World Patient Safety Day” since 2019. To ensure patient safety and optimize efficiency, governments have set goals and strategies by implementing healthcare procedures supported by innovative information and communication technologies, which provide patients with safer medical care settings. 

 

Health Smart Taiwan (HST), the innovative integrative platform operated by the Joint Commission of Taiwan (JCT), is holding a series of webinars (in English) on the occasion of World Patient Safety Day on topics including “medication safety”, “safe maternal and newborn care”, “surgical safety”, and “innovative medical care education”.

 

They hope to draw healthcare leaders’ attention to patient safety and provide practical approaches. International experts from Taiwan and the Asia-Pacific Region are invited to share their practices in the clinical care procedures developed by them.

 

The webinars of this series will take place as follows:

  • 1st September | Through Innovative Clinical Training to Improve Patient Safety
  • 16th September | Using Technology to Improve Medication Safety
  • 4th October | Using Technology to Improve Maternal and Newborn Care
  • 7th October | Using Technology to Prevent Mistakes in Surgery
