From the Principal

Shannon Correll

Well, we have had a few fun-filled weeks at school!

Congratulations to all the students on their wonderful costumes for BookWeek! I know a lot of time and effort went into creating costumes and parents and students should be very proud of their achievements.

SAFETY

A reminder about the school crossing. Please be role models to all our students and cross at the School Crossing even when you don't have your child with you - also you don't want to receive a fine for not using it and crossing elsewhere on the road.

Please abide by the road rules and not park in the area in front or behind the crossing. Doing so makes it dangerous for the students and the staff who are trying to help students cross the road. Also please be respectful towards our neighbours and don't park your car across their driveway.

Please also have patience when driving down our road. We all want to collect our children safely and I want everyone to arrive home safely. Your children are supervised so if you take 1 or 2 minutes longer it is ok... we all need to be safe.

UNIFORMS

I have noticed a number of students wearing black leggings - please ensure that the leggings worn under the dress are NAVY BLUE. Students are not to wear leggins as pants.

Planning for 2023!

It's that time of year again when I am beginning to look at classes for 2023!! A very scary thought!! Could you please let me know if you are not returning to St Brigid's School - unless you are a Year 6! It is very important that you do let me know as I have to staff the school accordingly. If you are intending on leaving our community, you need to give a terms notice (30th of September is the final day) or you will be charged - at the Principal's discretion for Term 1 or 2023. (As per the Fee Policy)

Next week I am attending the National Catholic Education Conference which many school leaders will attend. I look forward to sharing my experiences with you in the next school newsletter.

Have a wonderful weekend and I will see you all soon.

Yours in Love, Peace and Learning
