Prep News

Term 3, Week 8

Prep Reminders:

  • It has come to the time of the year where we need to ask a favour…. We are wondering if any school books have gotten a little bit comfy under your couch, on your bookshelves, on the kitchen table, or anywhere else! We have noticed that quite a few books are missing from our collections and would love it if you could have a look to see if you have any that can be returned?
  • All Preps should now have a login for Wushka in their yellow reading log books. We have added many books to each students account, feel free to use this program to supplement your home reading. Enjoy the variety of books!

What we have been up to...

Science Week

Last week, we had so much fun doing experiments! The experiments we did were 'Dancing Raisins' where we predicted what might happen when put raisins in soda water, 'Dancing Sprinkles' where we got to see what happens when you put sprinkles on top of a bowl covered in Glad Wrap then play really loud music, and finally we predicted what might happen when we put one container of frozen water in the shade and one in the sun.

Book Week

What a fun time we had on Friday! Dressing up, Book Week Parade, and Book Week activities. We all had the best day and it was so wonderful to see so many fantastic costumes and read so many books!

The Blurbs

To top of a fantastic Friday, we had a performance from The Blurbs. We had been practising their songs for weeks- which came in very handy! We did a wonderful job being an audience in our first whole school performance.
