District Athletics
On Thursday 8th and Friday 9th September, we had two very important and fun days. On Thursday, 49 of our very talented athletes competed in the district athletics carnival. It was an incredible day, with lots of students getting personal bests and ribbons. Of the 49 students who attended, we now have 21 representing Carnegie Primary on October 7th in the Kingston Division carnival. Carnegie finished the District day in 2nd spot overall and represented our school proudly.

Prep-Year 2 House Athletics
On Friday, our Preps, Ones and Twos had their junior athletics carnival. It was a magical day for all the students that took part in the events and everyone learnt a lot from the day especially the Preps. We look forward to many of these students heading to District athletics days in the future!
Also a big thank you to Mr Pollard and Mr Hodges for organising both of these events because without them none of this would have happened.
