South Passage Voyage

THS Year 9 student Taneeka Kennedy will be sailing with South Passage from August 1st until August 8th! Taneeka will be sailing on a 100-foot-tall ship from Townsville to Mackay with students from other schools across Australia.

The students will be helping with all of the ship’s duties including, hoisting sails, steering from the helm, following weather patterns (using the wind to guide them), scullery duty (cook & clean), work with the anchor and knot tying. This is a fantastic opportunity & we wish Taneeka all the best on her Maiden Voyage!

Winter School Music Program 

THS hosted the Cuskelly Winter School Music Program again this year during the holidays. Congratulations to Jackson, Brooke, Claire, Nakkita, Amelia, Jasmine, Bailee, Annabelle and Mr Everett for participating. The final concert on 7 July was fabulous! Thank you so much to the Cuskelly College of Music for giving our students this opportunity!

Northern Inland Academy of Sport (NIAS)

Ava Mitchell travelled to Tamworth on 2 July to compete with her under 15's NIAS team. Congratulations on the win, way to go Ava!
