Dear Parents,

The first four weeks of term three have given us many memories that will be remembered for a long time to come. We are still basking in the heartwarming moments shared during our recent Grandparents' Day celebration. It was truly a day to remember, filled with love, laughter and cherished memories.

Our students showcased their talents and appreciation for their grandparents in the spectacular assembly that left everyone in awe. Their performances and efforts truly demonstrated their love and respect for their grandparents.

We were thrilled to see so many grandparents, visiting classrooms and engaging in delightful interactions. The atmosphere was vibrant and cheerful, as generations came together to celebrate the cherished bond between grandparents and their grandchildren.

A special thank you to Mrs Ravilya Sedlar and staff members who put in the hard work and dedication to ensure that the event ran smoothly. Their commitment to creating a memorable experience for our students and their grandparents is genuinely commendable.

Additionally, we extend our gratitude to the parents of Kindergarten and Year One students who organised a delightful morning tea. Your thoughtful contributions added an extra layer of warmth to the event, allowing everyone to connect and share stories.

Events like Grandparents' Day play a vital role in fostering a sense of community and creating lasting memories. Your active participation and support continue to enrich our students' educational journey.

Yesterday, our school participated in the Interschool Public Speaking Competition hosted by St Francis Xavier, where our representatives, Adele Fisicaro and Arianna Kulen, performed magnificently and made us incredibly proud. Congratulations to Adele who placed third in the Stage Two division.

Thank you and congratulations to Mr Nick Criniti for all his work in coordinating the event and ensuring it ran smoothly.

Book Week is just around the corner! This annual event is a wonderful opportunity to ignite our students' love for reading and celebrate the magical world of literature.

On Monday, 21st August, we will be hosting our highly anticipated Book Character Parade. We are excited to see our creative and imaginative students donning their favourite book character costumes. The parade promises to be a feast for the eyes as our students bring their beloved characters to life. Parents are warmly invited to join us and witness the joy and excitement.

Book Week provides an opportunity for us to instil a lifelong love for reading in our students and encourages them to explore the boundless realms of imagination that books offer. We encourage you to support your child's participation in the Book Character Parade by assisting in choosing a character that resonates with your child.

Thank you once again for your continued support, and I look forward to seeing you at our Book Week character parade.

Kind Regards,

Grace Carlo-Stella
