Intermediate Girls AFL team

On Tuesday 18th July the Intermediate Girls AFL team played in the Western Metro Region Round of the girls AFL. Despite the incredibly cold, wet, and windy conditions our girls put up a great fight against their competitors. Losing their first game against Western Heights College (0 – 86) and winning their second game against The Grange P-12 College (21-14). This is an incredible achievement for our girls, not only for making it to Regionals, but being able to win a game at this level is a fantastic effort. The team showed fantastic sportsmanship throughout the day. The pinnacle of this was when two of our girls helped off an injured opposition player while the game continued. It was fantastic to see!
