Around The Primary

Dear Parents

Primary House Day has been absolutely fabulous!

It is always a special event and today the Primary community celebrated Primary in fine style!! We began our celebrations with a lovely Mass. During this time students, staff and visitors all reflected and learnt about the names behind the Houses, namely Campion, Koolyangarra, Loreto, Loyola, St Louis and Ward, which are such an important part of our College heritage.

Well done to everyone for their efforts with Primary House Day. Special thanks to Ms Allen for preparing the lovely liturgy and to all our hardworking staff for planning the fantastic activities and games.

Congratulations to the Year 6 Leaders who put so much effort into their stalls for the Monster Cake Stall.  As with our tradition during Lent the monies raised from the stalls will be donated to Project Compassion.  We raised a total of  $1,410.05 for Project Compassion which was a fantastic effort.

The Interschool Swimming Squad enjoyed participating in the IPSHA Swimming Carnival at Newman College on Thursday morning. Our appreciation is extended to Mr Alderman and to all the staff and parents that supported this event.  More information will follow next week about the record breaking results.

Well done to all our competitors.

Save the Date

Our next Assembly is on Wednesday 3 April at 9am and is being prepared by 2G. We hope many parents will be able to join us on the day as we will be farewelling Mr Alderman. Mr Alderman is retiring after 23 years of dedicated service to the College.

Muffin Monday

Last weekend many Year 4 parents and students were busy making muffins for Muffin Monday.  These delicious sweet and savoury muffins were gratefully received by The Shopfront and will be shared with all their visitors.
