Faith and Wellbeing Assistant Principal's Report

School Tours
With the current rules for Social Distancing, we have had to re-think the way we allow people to see our school, particularly people looking at enrolling a child. With the great news of staff member Lauren Conlon recently having a baby, we have Emily Thompson joining our Promotions and Development Team. Over the last few weeks Emily Thompson and Helene Diamantopoulos have been very busy creating a virtual school tour of our facilities. This can be found on our website under enrolments and I encourage people to have a look. It is a great representation and reminder of our fantastic facilities. This video will also be used with our upcoming tours where people will join via a Zoom video conference, in a small group, to hear an address from the College Principal, Mr Sam Cosentino and have some time for Q&A. This is a new way of inviting people to see the great community we have here at Nazareth and we are excited to see the work of the Development Team come to fruition. If you know any people who might be interested please direct them to the website to register for a tour or they can email enrol@nazareth.vic.edu.au or if there are any questions call our College Registrar, Ms Bernadette Bryant. The dates are:
- Tuesday 26 May 2020 10.00 am-11.00 am
- Thursday 28 May 2020 2.00 pm-3.00 pm
- Wednesday 3 June 2020 12.00 pm-1.00 pm

Students at School
Just for everyone’s information, we have approximately six students daily doing their online work on campus. We are very grateful for the work of Ms Emily Bryon and Mr Jason Robert who have been doing great work in supporting our student learning.
Partnership
At school we are constantly aware that we are in partnership with parents/guardians. At this unique time a reminder that we are still desiring to support your family in any way we possibly can. Please email teachers as you normally would if there are any concerns about your child’s learning or wellbeing, or feel free to call me at the College if there is anything we can do to support you.
Mothers' Day
Last Sunday we celebrated Mothers' Day. I think everyone recognises what an amazing gift our mothers, grandmothers and mother figures are to our lives. We give thanks to God for the gift of our mothers and grandmothers (including those who have gone before us) and ask His Blessing on them always.
