District Cricket Gala Day

On Friday 20th October, we entered the 5/6 Kanga Cricket Gala Day at Doug Denyer Reserve. The students all participated enthusiastically. Both boys’ teams remained unbeaten all day! The ‘All Star’ boys will now play at the Division Finals Day.

Well Done!

Softball Division Finals

On Tuesday 24th October, the girls and boys softball teams played in the Division Finals in Bentleigh. They both played two matches and were victorious in both games! This is a great achievement and the boys' and girls' teams will now play in the Regional Finals.

District Rugby Gala Day

Also on Tuesday 24th October seventy Year 5/6 students played in the Rugby League Gala Day. Lots of matches were played, a mixture of tag and tackle rugby. Well done to all of the students and a special mention to the Boys' Division 2 team who narrowly lost their Grand Final.

State Athletics

On Monday 30th October, Lauren Kirkwood and Jeremiah Jeanes participated in the State Athletics Competition at Lakeside Stadium, Albert Park. What an achievement to get to this s!

In wet and windy conditions, Jeremiah came 4th in his discus event, throwing a whopping 28 metres!

Lauren finished 2nd in Long Jump and 3rd in 100m and 200m. As a result she has been selected in "Team Vic" to represent Victoria in the 100 metres, 200 metres, & Long Jump for Girls under 13 Multi Class.
