Maffra Secondary College -Cricketers Success

Bayden Dowsett, Austin Anlezark and Ed Phelan-Penson have all been selected by the Richmond Cricket Club to play in their Under 17 and senior side, they will compete in the Victorian Premier Cricket Competition. 

The boys also completed in the Dowling Shield where they were very successful. Bayden  and Austin also played in the under 17 Victorian State side.

Austin got the opportunity to bowl against the English players where he bowled out Johnny Bairstow, Ollie Robinson, and Ollie Pope.

Austin is a fast bowler who is capable of bowling 135 kmh.

Next year the three boys will be eligible for the under 19 Victorian State side.

Richmond Tigers Dowling Sheild players have secured a spot in the semi finals after defeating Camberwell Magpies, 3/245 to 7/154. Good luck to Austin Anlezark, Bayden Dowsett and Ed Phelan-Penson, they take on Ringwood on the 20th of February.
