Hello everyone,

My name is Ms Julie Feddersen. I was born in Canada and received my Bachelor of Arts degree before travelling to join my father here in Australia in the early '90s. I pursued my Bachelor of Education at ACU before entering the teaching profession later on in my life after spending many years working in the film and television industry.

I genuinely enjoy teaching because I love seeing the students grow and feel rewarded by what I can contribute to a child's life, be it to their intellectual, physical, emotional or spiritual growth. 

I started teaching at Holy Family in 2005, and I have enjoyed discovering students' talents, creativity, and curiosity throughout the school. 

This year my role will be different. I will be a specialist teacher teaching Performing Arts (Drama) to all the children and Physical Education (Sports). In addition, I will be helping students in learning Mathematics in the Junior school and English in the Senior school. 

My goal this year is to ensure that together, all students experience success and are engaged during every lesson.

In the summer holidays, I attended a fantastic 80th birthday celebration. It was beautiful to see everyone gather after being denied for so long. Being together is so important. It helps us connect and nurture our well-being. 

I hope that we stay together all year. Together as One! May God bless us all for 2022.
