AMC Maths Competiton

MGSC had 231 enthusiastic students from years 7 to 10 competing in the Australian Maths Competition in 2021. They completed a very challenging set of 30 questions at and above their levels and achieved some amazing results including 19 Distinctions; 90 Credits; 92 Proficiency and 30 Participation level recognitions.

Special mention to the 19 Distinctions recipients listed below and to Jamie Wang (Year 7) who achieved our school’s highest standardised score.

Distinction recipients were invited to a celebratory pizza lunch on Friday 18 February to receive the certificates that acknowledged their achievements.
